Ashleigh Burton

Senior middle hitter Ashleigh Burton (Indianapolis, Ind./Bishop Chatard) became the sixth Earlham volleyball player to reach the 1,000-kill mark for her career during the Quakers’ match with Millikin on September 15, 2018, at the DePauw Invitational. At the end of the tournament, Burton had 1,014 career kills, including 142 kills (3.09 kills per set) through 14 matches this season.

Through 14 matches, Burton leads the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference and is ranked 29th among Division III leaders with a .381 hitting percentage, and she is sixth in the HCAC in kills per set.

Burton is leading a Quaker volleyball team that is ninth in all of Division III in total kills (615), and 47th in kills per set (12.81).
