RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College women's soccer team was recognized Thursday for its academic achievements in 2018-19 when it was awarded the United Soccer Coaches (USC, formerly the National Soccer Coaches Association of America) 2018-19 Team Academic Award.
The Quakers received the award for the third consecutive academic year, and the sixth time in program history.
Teams must post a 3.00-or-better team grade point average during the 2018-19 academic year, and the Quakers qualified with a 3.32 GPA.
Earlham was one of five women's soccer teams in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference to earn the accolade. The Quakers were joined by Anderson (3.30), Defiance (3.42), Rose-Hulman (3.33), and Transylvania (3.04).
